Feel-Good Songs!

So, we're taking a break from Valentines day, and heading over into a more "mellow" topic: Feel-Good  Songs!!


I'm not sure about you guys, but I listen to music daily. Theres something out there for everyone, and today were going to be sharing our favourite feel good songs with youu <3


1) Little Things~One Direction: THIS.SONG.IS.AMAZING. If you guys can't decipher the message, here it is: Their saying that even though you have all these insecurities, thats what makes you you and thats why they love you. It's really sweet and it makes me feel amazing, just listening to the lyrics <333
2)Thrift Shop~Macklemore ft.Ryan Lewis: Ahahaha this song makes me laugh and sing along and danceeeee, this is probably one of my favourite songs right now #inlove
3)As Long As You Love Me~Justin Bieber: Im a total Belieber, and this song is one of my favess <3 And the music video is to die for :* I'm pretty sure all you Beliebers out there know where I'm coming from
4)We are Never Ever Getting Back Together~Taylor Swift: If a guy has ever broken your heart, this song is really satisfying. (True Story: When I first broke up with my boyfriend, I liked to blast this song really loud meanwhile throwing darts at a picture of my ex, pinned to the dartboard. Good times.) 
5)Teach me how to Dougie~Cali Swag District: This song is really catchy and has a great beat. It's super easy to dance to because, guys, there's a whole dance for the song. If you don't know how to dougie there are a lot of video tutorials on youtube and well, you can get someone to teach you!
6)Superbass~Nicki Minaj: Yeah this song is a little bit old, but it's still so catchy! The bass is just great and the rap is so easy.

What to do if your friend is mad at you

Hey guys!

It sucks to have an angry friend. Need help? We got your back.

If you don't know why she's mad

Go up to her and ask her what the problem is. Hopefully she'll tell you, and if you understand her situation, you can go from there. But if she won't budge, try passing her a note in class (we don't recommend passing notes-we do it, but it sucks to get caught) or send her a text. If she's still ignoring you, give her a few days to cool off, then try talking to her again. After a week and you guys still aren't talking, you might want to accept the fact that you guys just weren't meant to be buds and move on to a new group of friends. Hopefully she'll come around eventually.

If you do know why she's mad

Try  talking to her. If you know that you did something stupid, apologize for it. If you don't agree with her reasoning, talk it out. If she's still upset, give her time. Don't bring your other friends or her other friends into the argument. Settle it between you and her. If you guys solve your problem, make sure you don't make the same mistakes again.

Valentines Day Makeup Look!!

Since almost every girl likes to look their best on Valentines day, we came up with a gorgeous makeup look that will have all the guys drooling over you <3

Step One:Eyes
Since you want to incorporate some sort of pink into your look, we decided that a darkish sparkly pink (such as Toasted from the Urban Decay Naked Palette) would be the perfect lid colour!! As for the crease, you want something that will compliment the lid colour, we decided that a bold sparkly gold colour (such as Half Baked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette)  would do the trick! Now the outer corner is an optional step, but if you want your eye look to look phenomenal, we suggest you use a light shimmery pink (such as Sin from the Urban Decay Naked Palette) and place that on your outer corner and bring it 1/4  way under your lower lash line. Eyeshadow is COMPLETE! But... There's still a few finishing touches we need to make so your eyes look complete. Eyeliner!! We suggest you go with a black liner, it will make your eyes pop the most, but if you're not aloud to wear eyeliner, go for a shadow liner (such as risqué Renee from The Balm Shady Lady) and line your top lash line. Now the last and final step for the eye look... MASCARA!! Mascara is definitely a makeup must have, and Maybelline mascaras always have great results :) we do have a post on how to apply mascara so go check that out to all of our tips and tricks ! The eye look is now complete, onto the rest of the look :)

Step Two:Blush/Bronzer
To make your face look as great as your eyes, blush is definitely the trick! A really amazing blush is Natural Pearl from Physicians Formula. ( You can use any pinky, coraly blush too) As you can probably tell from the name, it's a very natural looking blush, has a lot of color pay off but in a very natural way (if that makes any sense at all.) The only way you probably won't know how to apply blush is if you live under a rock.. But we'll still go over the basics just in case:) First get the blush on the brush, and smile, brush the blush on the apples of your cheeks making your way up to your temple, (there should be a faint sign of pink near your temple.) Make sure your blush isn't on too heavy, you could end up looking like a clown. Now, for the Bronzer, if your pale, Bronzer definitely helps you out (but you don't need to have pale skin to wear Bronzer) to apply Bronzer, we'll quickly go over the basics. This may sound weird, but make the fish face with your lips and where the skin goes in, brush the Bronzer there making it's way up to your ears, this is called contouring. You can also brush the Bronzer along your forehead and down your nose, just make sure you brush the Bronzer down your neck too so the color is even on your face and neck. There's only one more step to having the perfect Valentines Day look !!

Step Three:Lips
Lipstick (or lip gloss) completes any look! One of my favorites are the Revlon Lip Butters, (you can go with any other lip product) as I say, "it's like a three in one!" I say this because the color payoff (for most of them) is like the color you would get from any normal lipstick. It's moisturizing like a lip balm (no more having to wear 3 different lip products on your lips in the winter) and its like a lipgloss, because they have the most amazing shine and gloss to them! As for the color, I would suggest any light pink to tie your whole look together! *you can purchase the Revlon Lip Butters at any drugstore for $12.00*

How to use a Hair Donut

 Bonjour petit amis!
So I bought a hair donut from Claire's, and I couldn't figure out how to use it despite the directions. One day I was just messing with my hair in front of the mirror and I figured it out. *Round of applause*
If you're having this problem, here's a step by step guide of how to do it. The hair donut works best for people with shoulder length to mid-back length hair. Make sure that your hair donut matches your shade of hair.
1. Brush your hair to get rid of knots and tangles. Put your head down so that your hair is falling towards the floor. Brush all hair to the top of your head, making sure that it is smooth. Put an elastic or two in to hold it in place. Put the elastic farther on your head than you think you will need it, because your hair will move around a lot. (You can stand up now!)
2.Put your hair donut on top of the elastic by pulling your ponytail through the middle of the donut.
3. Fix your hair so that it's covering the donut.
4. Make sure that you have some bobby pins on hand. Take a chunk of the hair resting on top of the hair donut and pull it down to cover the sides of the donut. Pull it tight so that it stays, and wrap the ends of that chunk around the base of the donut, where your elastic is. Bobby pin in in place.
5. Go around your head, taking chunks of hair and pinning them to the base.
7. Push the bobby pins in farther if they're showing. If you have hair sticking up at the back of your head, you can pin that down too. Your bun is now finished, if you have crazy hair you can seal the deal with some hairspray, but otherwise the bobby pins should do their job pretty well.
